Hasn't exactly been weekly, but this week:

Avengers #11
Avenging Spider-Man #20
Batman #20
Uncanny Avengers #8

The big winner this week for me was Avengers, which I thought was awesome. A step back from the crazy big idea New Universe cosmic stuff into:




Batman was good, the second part of a very good Clayface story. Uncanny Avengers was good too. Avenging Spider-Man was real good, part one of Superior Spidey trying to pull a fast one on SHIELD and shit hitting the fan pretty hard. Avenging Spider-Man is almost feels like a Joss Whedon Avengers movie starring Superior Spider-Man. It's as close as we'll ever get to Spider-Man in an Avengers movie.

You should try Detective Comics. It has been pretty good after a rough start.

Truth. John Layman and Jason Fabok have really turned Detective around from the drudge Tony Daniel was putting out.

Over a week late, but Hawkeye #10... wow. Hawkguy is the best comic book out there, man.

Actually, speaking of last week's Hawkeye, it had a real nice callback in it. A couple years ago, Fraction wrote a Hawkeye Young Avengers one-shot, and a key storytelling point was Kate not believing that the Robin Hood shot was possible until Clint proved it to her. In #10, it's Kate who hits the shot while Clint's aim is all over the board. It was a neat moment.
