Smart guys, doing their own thing and now have some kind of cross promotion with The Hardys in the works. I'm actually glad they aren't going to NXT. The matchups would be unique, but life in the WWE takes the shine off of just about everyone over time and it's nice to see that yes, there still is life outside of WWE.
At the end of the day, it's a business and they're in it to make money so they can buy groceries, pay their utility bills, and make mortgage (rent) payments - just like me when I go to the bank every day. If they made a decision that they will make enough money to do all of the above and also save for their children's college and their own retirement and be happy with the time they have at home, then that's a great decision.
On the other hand, part of me feels that every performer should take the deal that makes the the most money in the long-term while also imposing the least amount of damage on their bodies.
Hell, if they decided that they wanted to quit and become CPAs, I'd support them making that decision as well.
