TORONTO (Ticker) -- Toronto Raptors guard Alvin Williams, who has missed the last two games, will undergo arthroscopic surgery Friday on his right knee.
The procedure will be performed by Dr. Paul Marks and will relieve inflammation in the knee. There is no timetable for his return and the Raptors have not made a roster move as Vince Carter, Lonny Baxter and Jalen Rose each are on the injured list.
The 6-5 Williams has played 54 games, starting all but two, and is averaging 8.9 points, 4.1 assists and just over 31 minutes.
Toronto will try to snap a season-high seven-game losing streak Friday at Boston.
Sorry, I should have made it clear that I meant that the simple act of owning a gun wasn't bad. All NBA facilities have a gun ban, so he was wrong to have it with him even if it was in the middle of the great plains.
