Work in progress for what this thread might have been called: Out Of Tyme, Sydal Goodbye? Mahal-d On A Minute, Clay-a! Tatsu're About To Go One-'ana-One In Camach With The Unemployer!
noticing that the wwe site is not using everyone's real names while wishing them the best in the future. recently hasn't the wwe used real names in these situations.
yoshi tatsu recent japanese blog is about making your own luck so probably not unexpected. was going to say that releasing him right before their japan tour shows they really didnt understand how to utilize him, but also seem to remember he talked about on his blog not being brought to japan after the earthquake/tsunami, as well. becoming more interested in njpw these days, so hope he lands there.
I'm sad they cut Camacho, who's really grown on me down in NXT. I saw him as essentially playing a guy who was tremendously disgruntled that he couldn't cut it on the main roster, so was playing spoiler to any of the NXT guys who were up-and-comers. It was a good spot for him.
JTG - I liked him in Cryme Tyme. That was several years ago. I assume since he's been off TV he was at the developmental center helping out? Were they paying him to sit at home?
Drew McIntyre, Jinder Mahal - I liked 3MB, even if it was a lower card gimmick. I thought they just had them in it until creative figured out something better for them to do. I guess they gave up.
Aksana - Aksana loves Double Double E. WWE, let me entertainment you. So anyway, so all you people wanna be just like Aksana. Love you, kisses kisses.
Curt Hawkins - He was just on NXT, losing to Adrian Neville. Another talent I thought could use more TV time.
Theodore Long - I thought once he left TV he was working in some other capacity, whether with creative, or helping younger wrestlers, or something. Surely there is a place for him doing that?
Camacho - Once Hunico became Sin Cara 2.0, I guess they had nothing for him.
Brodus Clay - He knocked out Adrian Neville's front teeth on NXT, and wasn't seen again after that I think.
Evan Bourne - He's been off TV with his injury for a long time and he'd have to be reintroduced I think. He could always come back later.
Yoshi Tatsu - This release makes sense, as Yoshi never seemed to get past the bottom of the card, despite being talented.
Marc Harris (referee) - I'm sure I'd recognize him, but I don't know the referee names in general.
Teddy's release is more being framed elsewhere as his contract coming to an end and him easing off into retirement. Which makes me feel a little better.
Originally posted by J. KyleThis company has always been like network TV pre-Lost: Only one or two Asian guys at a time. And it's operated with a modified version of The Walking Dead's black guy rule. As soon as another shows up, the existing better get nervous. So it's good news to KENTA fans as he's almost certainly the Tyreese to Tatsu's T Dog. (edited by J. Kyle on 12.6.14 0242)
Boy, you weren't kiddin'. They even got rid of BLACK REF Marc Harris, (as per BigDaddyLoco's post).
I presume JTG had largely been used as a house show jobber for up and comers. Not that I keep up with house shows, so I could be wrong. Why he was never used on TV in that capacity, I'm not sure.
So, with Heath back to being the One Man Band (or, god help us, still stuck with Hornswoggle), who becomes the go-to heel comedy jobber crew? Do they come up with something new? It feels like a useful thing to have around.

Heath will come out with a black armband and announce that he will lead history's deadliest faction on a second rampage.

We saw him against Damien Sandow at a house show in 2012.

I don't think JTG was on the road. He might've been brought to TVs and not used, but for the rest of the week he was hanging out at home getting that money money. I don't know if he worked more than 10 matches after complaining about the Wrestlemania payoff in 2012.
If it happened today, that dork Shoemaker would've lost his mind if Alicia Fox and JTG had followed up on their NXT angle where she was giving him a makeover to make him a contemporary Brooklynite, which started the week before Redemption was replaced by vanilla developmental NXT.

And hit the Mean Street Posse's music.
3MP?
Besides Barrett doing so well as Bad News, my second caveat for not doing Shield vs. Nexus was that it would be too sad to break up 3MB. :(
Nous ne nous pouvons pas sortir. Why not have sellout Nexus reform now, either as HHH's pawns or as a bunch of guys who are now quite comfortable at their workplace and don't want Bray Wyatt's maniac mission to destroy the WWE to succeed, forcing them to team with former hated rival and now casual acquaintance John Cena.
Ryback is lost in the ether, and it could save Gabriel's job.
Also, the "one at a time" rule was applied to Asian wrestlers in the WWE, as Tatsu seemed to supplant Yang who seemed supplant Suzuki, etc. Could be majorly wrong on the order of succession there, it just never feels like they have more than one or two at a time.
Though it wouldn't surprise me if they have another black ref on deck.
I was at a house show and Brodus Clay faced Jack Swagger. The weird thing was, this house show was just about a month after Jack Swagger decided to take time off because AJ was General Manager. It confused me, but I really did not think much of it, because the match itself was good.

I was really, really hoping that during the WM30 battle royale, we'd see Barrett/Gabriel/Otunga/Slater/Ryback/Axel/O'Neil/Young all turn around slowly to face the rest of the people in the ring and start attacking as (we are) one.

Hey, everybody! Did I miss any news since Tuesday?
(They already HAVE another black ref, by the way: Darrick Moore [ @RealDarrickWWE] - I guess, like Asian superstars, There Can Be Only One Black Referee.)
Looks like Harris replaced King almost exactly two years ago...
OH MY GOD THEY REPLACED THE BLACK REF WITH A BLACK REF #RAW
Nous ne nous pouvons pas sortir. Darrick Moore should turn heel Danny Davis style and begin entering to a Jimmy Hart composed knockoff of "Princes of the Universe".
