I don't think that this has been brought up here, so ...

I was digging around on the WWE website & found a really cool section dedicated to specialty (gimmick) matches. It lists the basic rules of the match(es) and links to photos of various bouts throughout the years. It's a really cool little section.

Really cool and interesting link Mayhem. Thanks.

Looks like quite a few of those were pioneered or invented by Vince Russo.

What stopped them from listing "Kennel From Hell Match"? There's all sorts of crap in there already.

No love for a "Tuxedo Match"? Yes its the same as a "Evening Gown Match" but why not have it listed?

I believe they made that list for the benefit of WWE Fantasy users, as they get points for wrestlers who participate in or win a specialty match. So I think they really focused on the matches that are pretty common, or that they've had in the past two years or so.
Of course, that doesn't explain why they list the Boiler Room Brawl or an Inferno Match. I don't think either of those have been done in a while.
And wasn't the Kennel From Hell a one time thing?

Yeah. Even if it hadn't been intended I imagine the match itself would have sealed its fate.

I know this won't matter to probably 98 % of the people on this site -- but regardless.... I just found a few copies of the Flair DVD in Toronto!
