"Alexis Laree has signed a developmental deal with WWE and will be reporting shortly to Ohio Valley Wrestling.
A regular on the Northeastern independent wrestling scene, Laree had been working as a member of Raven's Gathering group in NWA TNA and as a babyface for Ring of Honor.
Laree had worked several dark matches for WWE in recent months. There had been talk of signing her for some time."
--------- Well their goes another from TNA. I hope it doesn't take her long to get on TV. She seems like an ok wrestler. Maybe to make up for the lost spot Raven can get the chick that he was with in WCW for a while. I don't remember her name, but she might have played Raven's or Hak's (aka Sandman) sister.

Alexis didn't really DO much in TNA - but she felt like she was an important member of their little clique. I enjoyed what we got from her, and I'm REALLY hoping things work out in the WWF.
I've been hoping for awhile that Alexis would get signed. She's cute, has good prescence and is an ok wrestler. I say they keep her Hot Topic-ish look and put her with Sean O'Haire. Although i'd like to see her work a program with Victoria on RAW. Throw in Daffney in the mix and we can have a big crazy party.
Now if they signed Valentina, I think i'd end up watching RAW just for the Divas, which is pretty sad, really.
Edit: I'm not completely sure, but didn't WWE have a policy about not hiring women who have previously done nude shoots or porn before being with the company? Or maybe they're just unaware of Alexis' Hustler pics (I think it was Hustler, anyway).
It's funny how out of ALL the talent TNA has, so far the WWE has raided Alexis Laree and Tenacious Z(and Paul London but he wasn't really a regular). She's a pretty good pickup for the WWE with the womens division spiraling down the crapper right now. Alexis isn't great, but she can take a good assbeating, which makes her a pretty good fit in division.
And waiiit, there's naked pics of Alexis? Are you sure about that GrubbyLongJohns? I've never heard about that before, and if it's true, I have some searching to do.

...oh, I see. WWE just HAS to get exclusive drilling rights on nude pics of their employees. Even future ones.

Yeah, she's hot, she will be an invaluable asset to the WWE roster in my humble opinion.

I've watched Alexis in a handful of matches in the now-defunct Maryland Championship Wrestling, and I gotta tell you, the girl could go. This is a great addition to the developmental roster... she'll go far, if you ask me.
I like the idea above about Alexis with Sean O'Haire.
If this freshens up the women's division, then I'm all for it. Lord knows Gail Kim isn't spicing things up as much as we all thought she would.
I actually wouldn't mind seeing Alexis mix it up with Trish or Molly.

What if they put her on the Smackdown brand? She will get to wrestle Torrie and Nidia once every 6 months instead of somewhat regularly for RAW. If she does go Smackdown Brand I hope she doesn't dissapear like Dawn Marie.

Royalties in the music business consist of a 50/50 payout between the performer and the publisher (songwriter/lyricist). When the WWE's in-house music division writes and performs the theme songs, the WWE owns the product 100%.
