Stuff happened. Fans lost patience with the show. Eva Marie made a babyface save because watch-Total-Divas-on-whatever-night-it's-on-and-whatever-channel-it's on. I turned off the TV before the final segment.
Shane's GIGANTIC leap of faith made SportsCenter this morning. I believe he could not have leapt one inch further, but the other turnbuckle was much closer. I suppose that was ignored to make sure the hard camera isn't on TV.
That was as lazy a build to a Jericho/Styles Mania match as we could get. But I did like Jericho and Hunter mentioning how many Manias this year makes for them. The latter's promo was good.

It was a babyface save that the babyfaces didn't want..they were all distancing themselves from Eva in the aftermath which makes the dynamic a little more interesting and amusing. NO ONE likes her or wants her in this match but Eva's all, "Hey ladies, it's me, I'm here to help!"
Also I totally missed that Sexy Motorcycle Cop Emma is back on the main roster (and getting a Mania payday).
KO was doing great work in the 6-man tag but the crowd was burnt out (they taped some SD! matches before RAW too) and just wanted to chant "Byron Saxton!" because "you gotta love the WWE Universe, Maggle!"
I don't get to watch much Raw these days, but I did tune in to see Xavier Woods play "La Cucaracha" on the trombone in Alberto Del Rio's face and I laughed so hard I went into a terrible coughing fit.
So now I'll have to order Wrestlemania. (Or I guess the network, if that's the way to do it these days.)
I get the feeling they really want Eva to become the Bella Ambassador for the company now, but you can't be that tone deaf and keep forcing things on people. The masses want to boo Eva so put her in a postition where booing her makes some sense. Help her help you get cheers for your female faces, then maybe adjust. Good Lord.
...and that Bla- I mean Bad and Blonde name.
Hopefully, they just give Reigns the title and a somewhat extended run so we can just play this whole thing out. It won't happen. No way The Authority go away, but it's well passed time to move this thing along. It really doesn't matter If He has the belt or not at this point.
The AJ-Jericho storyline has been fine. It feels like there was a beginning, middle and probably an end. It feels like a compressed version of a late 80s WWF feud that played out on Superstars and Saturday Night Main Events.
Not a good start for poor Sami Zayn. They better be real careful with portions of the WM card that people have been trained not to care about.
NXT Takeover should be really good and WM will be something, but I don't know what that something will look like.
Oh, and Shane's dive looked cooler and less staged from fan can angles. You're a bitch, no you are. Legacy vs Whatever. Fantastic build.
Shane has cut a lot of weight since his return. Hell, since two weeks ago. I caught a glimpse of his stomach when he used his shirt to wipe sweat. Holy shit, Shane is fucking ripped. This might be his first shirtless wrestling match. And this has been your Comfortable with his Sexuality Update.
La Cucaracha. Jesus that was perfect.
The Owens-Miz dynamic while they were on the apron was great. Those are two guys who understand, appreciate, and are great at the little things.
I'm also worried about Zayn. I think the problem is that he doesn't really have a character and they haven't told us why he's important or why we should care about him, other than "former best friend of Owens who got hurt during his entrance to fight Cena and was out with that injury for a while but now he's back." WE know why he's important, but the majority of their audience doesn't.

It wasn't just the crowd being burnt out, though, because they woke up at the end when it was just Sami and KO. The problem is that there are 5 other guys in that match who have no reason to be there, and nobody gives a shit about anything they do. Seriously, there are three guys in that match who got in because Owens sent them out as a joke because they're jobbers and he could easily beat any of them, but then they got put in the match for real and they expect the crowd to care about these guys like they're going to win? How on earth did that get out of the writer's room? Meanwhile, Kalisto and the Ryback will be having a one-on-one title match, for no reason other than the Ryback wants the belt. How backwards can you book an angle?
so I got to see, for the first time, Raw with the spanish announce team. That was kind of interesting. They don't call the matches so much as translate what is being said on the english language show. I was surprised at that, I guess.
I saw the Shane/UT thing. That was a dangerous looking leap. I was very happy to see the old "UT sits up" thing. Jericho/Styles is going to be the MOTN.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

I might be in the minority here, but I dug Ambrose's wagon of weapons.
I thought HHH going on about being the greatest Superstar would've brought out Cena. When that didn't happen, and HHH came out at the end to do the same thing, I thought for sure Cena was coming out. I figured special ref for WM. Would've exploded some heads in the arena and in Dallas.
I don't care what Meltzer or anyone else says, there is NO WAY that on that night, in front of that crowd, they expected a face reaction for Eva Marie.

I agree. The facial expressions and body language of the others in the ring makes it CLEAR that this was an iffy situation and they weren't totally buying into it. There's no way they do that independently, so it goes to follow that they were told how to act.
From their brief interaction it seemed to me like Sami and Miz had really good in-ring chemistry. The biggest problems with that match are the current black holes of heat Sin Cara, Stardust and to a degree Ziggler.
I fear they're kind of rushing Sami too much. That match with Stardust at Roadblock and what we're seeing so far seems to be highlighting his "take a beating well and persevere until the end" attribute that he's been using on NXT. But they forget that the reason we cared about him in the first place was that he showed us all the crazy moves he could do so we got invested in him before he started to take said beatdowns.

I kind of feel that it's more like Vince/Dunn/Lackey Writers expected her to come out to face pops but everyone else in the building knew how it would really go...
I want to know everything about the context of that League Of Nations picture.
George Michael weighed his options. Maeby had chastised him for not taking risks, and what would be a bigger risk than perpetuating a lie about software just to ignite the passions of a woman? Of course it would be a lie, and since Maeby wouldn't know it was a lie, he wouldn't appear to be taking a risk. Perhaps the bigger risk was to tell his father he was lying, that he came up with it because he wanted his father to leave so he could enjoy what remained of his senior year. After all, he wondered, wouldn't that be the course of action taken by an overtly sexual man, a man who owns a pair of matador pants? He had not responded now for 41 seconds according to his unfailing internal clock, and it was time to come clean.
The night was ruined for me early in when I checked Twitter and WWE actually tweeted a slow motion replay of Shane jumping and CLEARLY missing every part of Undertaker's body. Why would you post that clear angle?
All I saw was the YouTube "top 10" version and it didn't make me want to go watch the DVRed version. The road to WrestleMania ends (nobody counts SmackDown, not even the company). It was like driving on a backroads highway with very few billboards... dull.
