No time like the present to try a 20 woman or so Rumble. They've got the numbers to do it: Raw has Fox, Bayley, Asuka, Dana, Mandy, Mickie, Jax, Paige, Sasha, Sonya (10) while SDL has Becky, Carmella, Lana, Liv, Naomi, Nattie, Ruby, Sarah, Tamina (9), assuming the champions are not in the match. Throw in a random Bella, an NXT lady or two, maybe a random former star or two... easy 25.
If they do 20 women and not 30 women, are people going to be OK with that?
(There's always lots of people from the MYC that they can bring back for 1 night, but it's be a lot of people the crowd doesn't really know much in a long match.)
They nicely foreshadowed Nia as the Andre/Kane of the Women's Rumble last night with her double Samoan drop.
Brock's reign continues to keep a low ceiling over guys like Braun and Samoa Joe, who are doing everything but beating Brock to be The Guy on RAW (and arguably the WWE). I would love to see Brock drop the belt at the Rumble, just so the main eventers have somewhere to go except a limited plateau and then rotate back to the midcard (hi, Seth and Roman).
It looks like Dean is gonna be out for a while with his arm, and Finn Balor is RIGHT THERE to form The Club and the Shield with Seth. Give that man something to do instead of fighting the Miztourage.

They totally have the talent to do a 30 woman Rumble with Peyton, Billie, Nikki Cross, Bianca Bel Air, Dakota Kai, and several others floating around in NXT (10 total going by WWE.com's NXT roster page, including Zelina Vega). I'd be a bit worried about the crowd sitting on their hands for some of the people they don't know, but it could definitely work. Really I think it's a given that Shayna Bazler if not Ronda Rousey herself will show up in the match. It's going to be a four hour plus show anyway, why not go for 30?
The Brock thing has gotten soooooo boring. I want to see Joe or Braun as champ (Kane not so much, but I get why he's in the picture). Just something fresh.
Don't waste Bianca Bel Air's debut on this. She's heads and tails over any other up-and-coming talent and is going to be headlining with Charlotte in short order.
