Ascension looked measly as soon as they appeared on WWE TV. They never successfully transitioned, and that was my first clue that NXT call-ups might not be the best option for everyone.
The Dark Order gimmick showed that a company could respond to tepid reactions and dramatically upgrade a similar gimmick.
I hope they all react to this as a fresh start with a new year. Getting fired at Christmas has to sting no matter what.

Harper and Sin Cara asked of course, and Viktor tweeted a gif with "FREEDOM!" so I assume they wanted it as well.
Harper is awesome. I think he'll do great wherever he ends up.
I really dug Ascension. I've been working through very early NXT (Full Sail years) and their original entrance, with the blue lights and such, was kinda badass. It would've worked on a larger, FOX-style Smackdown stage. However, WWE had no plans for them ever so I see wanting out. I did enjoy their involvement in the Fashion Files.
I'm thinking about "Deadhead"-ing with the WWE in November, but I can't seem to find any information about ticket prices/availability for the OVW TV taping every Wednesday. Are they free? If not, where can I get tickets?
