I was just watching WWE 24/7's Big Bang's and Dazzling Debuts month when something caught me off guard.
They show Steve Austin's Raw debut match against Savio Vega where he's managed by Ted DiBiase and everything, but Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler keep calling him Stone Cold Steve Austin.
I distinctly remember Austin being dubbed "The Ringmaster" when he first debuted in the WWE as Ted DiBiase's Million Dollar Champion and he wasn't "Stone Cold" until DiBiase quit the WWE and left for WCW.
Am I correct in assuming they redubbed the match or is my memory failing?

Yeah, the whole move towards going full-time the Stone Cold moniker started during the 1996 King of the Ring, if I recall. He started off the tournament with the Ringmaster moniker, but by the semis, they were calling him Stone Cold.

Speak for yourself. Saskatchewan has had it since almost the beginning, on SaskTel. (Not that I get it; my roommates just me enough for being a wrestling fan, the last thing they want is for it to appear on the cable bill.)

One time I was at a WWF house show in Winnipeg. After Steve Austin got beat by Kurt Angle in the main event, Austin wandered around ringside with the mic, talking to the fans. He'd ask people what they did for a living, and one guy said he worked for Shaw Cable. "If there's one thing I can't stand," replied Austin, "it's a no-good, sorry son-of-a-bitch who works for Shaw Cable." It was the quickest, most effective face turn I'd ever seen.
Also, like hansen9j said, Saskatchewan gets WWE 24/7 on SaskTel - and it rules really hard, just in case you were wondering.
Trish Stratus was in 160 matches from 2000 to her retirement in 2006 (plus a handful since then), and she was out for several months in 2005 to rehab her back. She was a workhorse.
