A lot of old school versions of the current rosters including DX and Hunter Hearst Helmsley as well as HHH. All DX sans Chyna is pretty cool as well as the McMahons minus Linda. I do wish they would have done a Nation Faroque as well as the Acolyte one. AJ and Sandow are going to be DLCs and the most notable left off is Tyson Kidd and Ryback. Would have liked to see Blackman and Molly or Sable, but its a far stronger roster than last years mainly for the ridiculous amount of DLCs from last year.
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.
Have they said if there will be DLCs for the Wii? I know the Wii doesn't do the full online playing network but if I can download songs for Rock Band on the Wii, why can't I have Damien Sandow?
Wow, look at the striking difference between John Cena and John Cena '04.
It definitely doesn't look as outdated as last year's roster, but the Bellas are in, and A.J., the heaviest pushed name of the last few months, is DLC.
THQ better really deliver on this game, as there have been rumors with the low sales from last year, and loss of jobs at their headquarters THQ may get bought out soon. WWE '13 and Darksiders II better be incredible to get them out of the hole or this could be the last THQ WWE we see.
That being said it makes more sense that they are making a game mixing the Attitude era and PG era as they really need to bring in as many old and new SvsR/WWE 12 fans and not just make a yearly roster update. Anybody who's played WWE' 12 knows the biggest detractor of the series isn't the roster or presentation but the execution. The highly exploitable and server-less online gameplay and Community Creation features being damn near inaccessible last year. If these aren't fixed the future of this series may be kaput.
I just want a WWE Universe mode that doesn't fight against my booking with every episode and PPV I plan. Ahh Universe mode, what fun we had....
So for people who are in more than once, we have: Nation of Domination Mark Henry and current Mark Henry Mankind, Dude Love, and Cactus Jack Classic and Modern Chris Jericho Big Show and Paul Wight (that looks to be him right after debuting) Classic and Modern Undertaker John Cena '04 and Modern Cena (I would have prefered "Wrestling in the colors of whatever sports team is nearby" John Cena) Bradshaw and JBL Classic and Modern Lita Hunter Hearst Hemsley, Classic Triple H, and Modern Triple H Classic and Modern The Rock Classic and Modern Kane (No Unmasked Kane is BS) Classic and Modern Edge Classic and Modern Christian. And Classic The Godfather with Modern Brodus Clay.
John Laurinaitis is on the list. I hope he's playable. Obviously you have to team him up with Road Warrior Animal.
I'll probably get it, even if they got rid of my favorite wrestler from last year, which was Drew McIntyre. (And no Tyson Kidd or Arn Anderson? That's three of my four Horsemen!)

Just for fun, Superstars missing from WWE 13 that appeared in the original WWF SmackDown! game in 2000:
The Dudley Boyz The Hardy Boyz Al Snow Test Gangrel D'Lo Brown Steve Blackman Hardcore Holly Val Venis
If you include managers/Divas:
Paul Bearer Chyna Tori Debra
This probably says something about the state of professional wrestling (WWE in particular) over the last 12 years, but I'm not interested enough to figure out what it would be.
AWESOME! Ted DiBia-- oh, it's the Legacy guy. SHAMROCK! Hey, where IS David Otunga anyway? I am surprised how happy Big Bossman's inclusion makes me. Kharma. Huh. Vader Vader Vader.
