Or whatever they're calling it. "Batman vs. Superman" seems to be the title floating around.
Anyway, Wonder Woman was a longtime rumor but not only is the character confirmed in the Man of Steel follow up, but she has also been cast: Gal Gadot (variety.com) is playing Princess Diana of Themyscira.
Gadot is probably most famous worldwide for her role in Fast 5 and Fast 6. She's rather skinny in those movies; I hope she Amazons up a bit.
If this movie really is based on Frank Miller's work, then I can't imagine this is going to be a flattering depiction of Wonder Woman. I'm hoping for the best, but I'm very cautiously optimistic.

It is not. Not really. The idea of invoking Miller is to get across a sense of what Superman fighting Batman will be like in the film. Or at least, this is my understanding. The main impetus for everything now is to start building for the Justice League movie. That seems to be evident by introducing the Trinity.
I have no idea who this is. I think she is a bit too skinny. I like my Wonder Woman, a bit thick, but who knows. If Batman vs. Superman fails it won't be due to Wonder Woman. She is just Diana Prince, right?
The Wee Baby Sheamus.Twitter: @realjoecarfley its a bit more toned down there. A bit.

That's a bit of a relief, as Miller's depiction of Wonder Woman (and Black Canary and...well...pretty much any female, outside of Carrie Kelley) is unflattering to say the least.
Still, very cautious optimism, given that DC's premier superheroine is now in the hands of the guy that brought us Sucker Punch.

The "where are we now" graphic bugged me at first too, but like emma, it grew on me and I even remarked at the attention to detail of it being reflected in the water.
