This was all Marvel here since CCI seemed to be all DC. On a rather shitty note, it seems Wizard had some gag orders on the big announcements and we have to wait two weeks till the next WIZARD issue for the 'juicy items' but there was still some pretty cool stuff announced this weekend.
Here's the rundown...
---Marvel News---
X-FACTOR #1 hits stores this November. EXCELLENT!
Warren Ellis's new 'team book' is gonna be called NEXTWAVE and will consist of Machine Man, Captain Marvel (the one with the afro.), Boom-Boom, and Alison Bloodstone... I can't say it sounds all that appealing but it's Warren Ellis, he hasn't disappointed me yet.
SPIDER WOMAN: ORIGIN comes out in in December, then, next year we get ANOTHER Spider Woman series. That one will be an on going book about her S.H.I.E.L.D. work.
ULTIMATE AVENGERS will be the first direct to DVD animated release from Marvel and will follow the first story arc from THE ULTIMATES... Err, why not just CALL it 'THE ULTIMATES'? ...and YES they ARE trying to get Samuel Jackson to do Nick Fury's voice.
Ed Brubaker will be writing DAREDEVIL when Bendis leaves the title.
---DC NEWS---
There's this story coming out that Dick Greyson will be wearing the BATMAN suit after INFINITE CRISIS and that Bruce Wayne will be in Arkham Asylum. THAT'S pretty cool if it's true.
THE DEATH OF MAGIC is a mini-series sequel to DAY OF VENGEANCE. Willingham is writing it.

Clerks 2: The Passion Of The Clerks starts filming September 19th!
