Wow, tough week for the VC. Although I've heard good things about ActRaiser. But still, hardly anything marquee.
I've seen reviews saying that Mario Party 8 is pretty much the Same Old Shit. Of course, if you have a bunch of friends, who cares? I'll take the Same Old Shit anyday.

Actraiser was pretty fun when it came out. I don't know how it'll stand the test of time, and maybe I just remember it because it was one of the first games on the system but I'll give it a try for sure.
Yeah the Mario Party reviews are not kind. But the great news for today(well for everyone but Sony) is that Metal Gear Solid 4 will be made for the 360 and maybe even the Wii.

Glad you asked, as in trying to find where I saw it things look less clear. First, this was the site I read it from:
I did find a year old article from the creator of MGS saying he wouldn't do it for another console, but obviously things change and he's not the only one making decisions.
At this point I'd say it's a rumor, until say IGN or Gamespot decide to run with it. So probably should have waited a bit to get excited, but oh well.
EDIT: Ok, so now I found this story:
"In the latest EGM LIVE, Shane Bettenhausen one of the EGM editors who last week was on the Kojima podcast talks more in-depth on MGS4. How it will probably be coming in (or slightly before) March to the PS3, and more or less confirms there is a deal in place that MGS4 will come to the 360. It will be announced after the PS3 version is out and odds are it may come out 6-months to a year after the PS3 version. So just maybe Xbox 360 owners may get a chance at Snake come next Christmas. If so from what is gathered from the podcast it may be slightly changed to get the best of the 360 hardware, after all this game is being built on the PS3 first and foremost. As it was mentioned in the Kojima podcast last week, If MGS4 comes to Xbox 360, it has not affected the game’s development as a whole. Still a 360 port would be nice as all gamers would then be able to enjoy the game."
