I think I can happily skip the Shrek game. And the Shrek movie. And the Shrek fruit snacks. And the Shrek minivan. GO AWAY FAT GREEN LUMP
As for the Virtual Console, I never liked Ninja Gaiden as much as the rest of the world seemed to. I do love me some Pac-Man, but then again, I have the Namco Museum collection for Gamecube so I already have me some Pac-Man. So no thank you.
Ninja Gaiden? Yep, that's a pickup for me. I have never been able to beat the final boss, and it's been long enough that I kind of want to try again. I used the Game Shark to beat Ninja Gaiden 2, and NG3 was mostly disappointing, so I'm looking for some NG1 action.
As for the Wii, two titles this month are buys for me. The first is Mortal Kombat and the second is Mario Party 8 at the end of the month. Everything else (especially Shrek)...bleh.
Two NES games and two ninja games in the same release? Seems a bit strange to me, but I suppose they'll all appeal to different people. I read on my favorite Wii blog that Bare Knuckles 2 was released in Japan last week or will be released there this week, which means that Streets of Rage 2 (for North America) can't be too far behind!! I know, I'm starting to sound like a broken record.
Any idea when the new Smash Bros. and/or new WWE games are going to be released?

Apart from "sometime this year," I don't have any details. And I'm not entirely convinced Smash Bros. will make it out by the end of the year, but I'm hopeful.
