No Wii releases is fine with me because I finally played Mario Party 8 this past weekend. I don't get the bad reviews for this game, other than the sameness of this game versus the previous Party games. No online is a bummer, but I played this with friends who I can see, and I would rather keep it that way. I have to say that the animations for stuff like the Thrice Candy look a bit like Final Fantasy VI and VII. Still, the graphics look good, especially for a Mario Party game.
I was a little upset when I read Milon's Secret Castle, because I thought at first it read Maniac Mansion. Oh well.
Informal Poll Time: After the 100'th game has been released for the Virtual Console, perhaps we could list all the VC titles we've bought so far. My list:
Super Mario Bros., Ninja Gaiden, TMNT, Punch-Out!, and my newest purchase was Castlevania. All NES games, all take me back to childhood.

Agreed. Other than those painfully difficult driving mini-games, I don't see what's so bad about the new Mario Party. It complements Wario Ware perfectly.
So I can live with Mario Party 8 for another week while those Wii releases come along in the next few weeks.

Informal poll answer: TOO many. I've bought more classic games that actual Wii games. Let's see... all of the Marios and Zeldas out, the first Toejam & Earl, Sonic and Sonic Spinball, Splatterhouse, Streets of Rage 2, Final Fight, Sim City, Bonk's Adventure, both Castlevanias, both DK Countrys, Mario Kart, Ninja Gaiden, TMNT, Punch Out, and for some reason Wario's Woods.
Basically ever game I loved growing up that's out so far ever. And I don't have nearly enough time to play them all.
Virtual Console releases (Japan) - Front Line (Famicom, 1-2 players, 500 Wii Points) - Adventures of Lolo (Famicom, 1 player, 500 Wii Points) - Golden Axe II (Mega Drive, 1-2 players, 600 Wii Points) - The Kung Fu (PC Engine, 1 player, 600 Wii Points)
I was very sad to realize The Kung Fu is a Turbografx game (soon to be released here as China Warrior) and not NES Kung Fu, which I'd buy despite the fact that it was terrible.

Right it is cool...only problem is unlike previous clocktowers the killer shows up all the time...not even half a minute goes by until he shows up which gets gay but other than that its awesome
