I don't think this deserves it's own thread so I will ask here. For VC games like Streets of Rage 2, is the Wiimote fine, or should I buy the classic controller?
The Wiimote should be fine for NES, TurboGrafx 16, and early Genesis games (had just the A, B, and C buttons). I believe you need the Classic Controller (or any GameCube controllers you may still have) for SNES games, and Genesis games that utilized the 6-button genesis controller.
I prefer the Wiimote for original NES games and the Classic Controller (or a Gamecube Wavebird) for Genesis and SNES games (and presumably TG16 games, but I don't have any).
Was StarTropics the game where you had to have a code that was in the instruction booklet or something like that? For some reason I recall a game I needed a code for and couldn't find it sometimes. Gonna get this game for sure.
