The W - Movies & TV - While I'm catching up on TV news, did anybody see the first "lost episode" of Chappelle's Show? This thread has 3 referrals leading to it
Apparently the first "lost episode" of Chappelle's Show aired last Sunday and is being rerun throughout the week (including tonight!) - did anybody see it? Was it half hilarious?
There'll be three episodes in all - you can also just wait two weeks and then buy them on DVD (The W at Amazon) instead, with all the bleeps taken out and probably some more extras - although, really, what kind of extras can you get on a DVD that's ALL extras?
It was awesome. The skit where a bunch of people are dancing in a club to the "new Tupac song" was hilarious. Basically, the song references all of this modern-day stuff but firmly declares: "I wrote this song a long TIME AGO! Back in NINETY FOE!"
"How could we possibly appreciate the Mona Lisa if Leonardo had written at the bottom of the canvas: 'The lady is smiling because she is hiding a secret from her lover.' This would shackle the viewer to reality, and I don't want this to happen to 2001." - Stanley Kubrick
Yeah, the Tupac sketch was the highlight. And the Spike Lee cameo was great, but nothing else was that memorable.
Charlie Murphy and Donnell Rawlings did a pretty good job hosting. Made me think that Comedy Central should build a show around them if Dave never returns.
ha! the 'Pac skit is an instant classic, from the way they distorted the vocals to mimic Pac to the track itself, funny as hell... even referenced CJ from San Andreas in the rap...
The Revenge Skit was funny as well,... especially at the end when he grabs the baby and punts it..lol..
I wouldn't mind having Ashy Larry and Charlie Murphy doing a skecth show...

That made me laugh out loud. Especially when raps about George W. and says "Uh, George W. Smith, he ran for city council, you might not have heard about him, ....in '94"
"Bring us an Awesome Blossom. Extra Awesome" -"The Office"'s Michael Scott, ordering at Chili's.
