I had a reaaly good felling the Vikes were going to win last night, but MAN I had fun watching that game, if only for these reasons:
Poor baby:

and Dejavu:

Don't be sorry...that's what rivalries are about.

I will admit though, I'm starting to have as intense a hatred for Edinger that I had for Butler ('da Bears) in the late eighties.

I can't watch Edinger kick. After that three miss game earlier this season, it's just too nerve-racking to see him lineup for that crazy no-look spinning roundhouse kick of his. Of course, he seems to make it every time I squeeze my eyes shut in terror, so maybe it's all for the best.

Packer love? We're 2-8. What's to love about this season?

I'll still pin my hopes on being healthy next year, and returning to the top of the division where we belong.

Wow it is great, as a Bears fan, to see the Packers collapse. The Vikes are playing better, but in the end they ARE the Vikes and will go on a long season-ending losing streak.

That makes the Baby Jesus happy.

There was one point where I actually used to really like John Madden, but watching him call that game last night was really, rough.

- I'm a big Vikings fan, so take it with a grain of salt, but is there any way we can get NFL coverage surgically removed from Favre's penis please?

-When a guy runs into another guy who is stopping, and then falls over, that is NOT unnecessary roughness, no matter how many times you show it, and no matter how loudly you bitch about it.

-Also, they don't call pass interference when the ball is uncatchable.

Oh well. Three game winning streak! Go Vikes!

If you have faith that the Texans can win a game, the Packers could be in position to get the #1 pick in a tie-breaker, and thus get Reggie Bush. Getting a potentially game-breaking back might be worth going in the tank for a season rather than seeing how many picks Favre can throw in a playoff loss.

Playoffs?

Agreed.

Damn Texans - how do you blow a 21 point lead?

Early line has the Bears favored by 11 against us this weekend. Does that mean the over/under for the game will be 17 (Chicago 14, GB 3), or 11!?!?

We suck, and that Favre dude played like crap yesterday. Not that I'm asking for his retirement or to have Aaron Rodgers at QB now, I'm just sayin'.

EDIT - Thanks to spell checker, I corrected "favored" up there -- I originally typed "favred", which I found kind of funny.

I am not a big football fan - not a big sports fan, really - but it was pretty hard to not get swept up in the excitement of the build to the big game. They made it to the Grey Cup only a few years ago, but it seemed like a much bigger deal this time.
