This has been quite a few weeks for the Clique. Between Triple H and HBK tearing the house down...and neither one jobbing to the Outsiders announcing a return to the Indy circuit, it's been a memorable couple of weeks. But when the story of Chyna coming to TNA broke out, it made me think of the forgotten member of the Clique.

What happened to Sean Waltman?

Upon leaving WWE, Jim Ross said Waltman's door to return would remain open and he would be more than happy to have him back. Re-dubbing himself "Syxx-Pac", Waltman went to TNA for a few brief appearences before storming off into...obscurity.

So where is Sean Waltman now and is there a chance he will ever return to WWE television?

Edge: So it shouldn't be long before I come back, since Smackdown's gonna need another main eventer.
Funaki: There's always Bob Holly.
Edge: HAHAHAHAHAHA!! What? You're serious? DUDE! How long have I been out???

I don't know how many times over the course of his career I've seen him post a long excuse to the world why he missed a booking and how fate was against him and it would never happen again only to read a brand new one a few months later.

Plain and simple, the guy is unreliable. If storylines have to be written with an "out" in case you're a no-show for part of it you're not going to have a real long shelf-life.

And Russo and he hate each other.

He, like Scott Hall, seems to be best if he steers clear of the wrestling scene. They just can't handle the pressures and the temptation. Imagine how hard it must be for guys like Eddy Guerrero and William Regal to be surrounded by all the things that tore down their lives on a daily basis.

Plus, Waltman's plagued with injuries, which I think is the main reason he hasn't done any shows lately. The concussions and neck injuries have really added up over the years.

I doubt he'll ever return to WWE, though. Triple H doesn't need that. It reflects poorly on him if his buddies are screwing up. Plus, Waltman can't hold up to that schedule anyways.

I don't think that a "users" presence would really affect Eddy Guerrero or Regal. First of all, those two wouldn't be anywhere near the abuser. The abuser would of course try to keep his problem secret(even if it is only drinking).
I'd say that once the next fed with a TV contract pops up. Waltman will be right there as one of their guys. He is very recognizable since he was in DX, and that company will be trying to draw old Attitude area fans back into wrestling.

"Huard, gonna go back to throw the ball. Sets up, looks, throws towards the corner of the endzone...it is INTERCEPTED INTERCEPTED, THE DUCKS HAVE THE BALL! Down to the 35, the 40. Kenny Wheaton's gonna score! Kenny Wheaton is gonna score! 20, the 10, Touchdown! Kenny Wheaton on the interception, the most incredible finish to the football game!" www.eatmyassbeavernation.com

I agree with Barbwire Mike...even despite Waltman's not getting along with Russo they were still able to bring him in for the anniversary show. And, if I'm not mistaken, he had been booked beyond that only to miss his scheduled shows.

WWE's obviously not going to bring a guy they can't count on when they could have pretty much anyone on this continent that they want.

It doesn't make any more sense for an up and coming company to use a guy like that either. The only way he makes money for them is if they advertise him, and if you put a lot into advertising a guy who doesn't show up it actually makes you worse off than if you hadn't bothered with him at all in the first place. I doubt we'll ever see Waltman as a regular anywhere again.

Actually the only way this comment is related is the "Where am I now aspect", I've been rather curious as to where Ken Shamrock has gone. Last I heard he went back to Ultimate Fighting and I believe I heard he wasn't doing very well with it. I can't imagine he's still shoot fighting at his age, but maybe I'm wrong. Is he training guys? Where has 'The World's Most Dangerous Man' gone?

As you've seen in the Raw Retros, there's been a lot of blur edits over the old WWF "Attitude" logo. To be honest... that's b.s. on the part of the current WWF.
