I found a new podcast that I like, and I wanted to mention it in the "What are your favorite podcasts?" thread in One Question. But I made the most recent post, so I can't add a new response. And I can't edit the post either, apparently.
So just for reference, what's the limit on editing posts?

After some certain period of time, you can't edit your posts anymore and it becomes set it stone. I don't remember what I set it to but I do know that you can't edit a post you made in June (which is the one you're talking about here). I did this because I'm a massive control freak and I think I had a problem with a problem user going back and re-editing his posts a long time after he'd made them, but again that was so long ago I don't really remember the particulars.
Generally, in cases like yours where you want to extend a thread, you can bug me or Aaron and we'll "break" the thread so you aren't seen as the last poster, and then you can become the last poster again. I've done that with the Podcast thread.
