Sorry for the potentially stupid question, but can someone *neatly* summarize what #GamerGate is all about? I tried reading up on it, but my puny brain is having a little trouble following. I know there are two opposing sides of a particular issue, but I'm not exactly sure what the issue is (James seems to think it involves ants ;-)), or what each side's position is, other than that one side has taken to terrorizing women. Related: #NotYourShield? Huh?
