The Kings actually got passed up by Kurt Rambis and instead opted for Paul Westphal. I used to think I was a Westphal fan, but his Sonics teams were so poorly coached that I cannot believe he actually landed another NBA head coaching job. The Kings are actually going to challenge the Clips for worst run franchise.

You know, I don't want to cause any controversy by saying so, but with each passing year the Maloofs look less and less like super geniuses. I hope Westphal is at least the kind of coach that can work WITH Petrie and not AGAINST him.

Agreed. They've made some pretty less-than-great decisions over the last few seasons. What are the chances they end up in Las Vegas?
