Well, at least from my squad: The Blazing Saddles!!

My mindset was focusing on players that I like. I love Jarome Iginla, so he was my first pick. And since he's playing with Craig Conroy & Dean McAmmond on the MCI Line, I chose them too. Sergei Federov was my second rounder, due to him ruling. Flames also chosen were Toni Lydman & Jordan Leopold. Edmonton's Eric Brewer, Islanders Janne Niinimaa & Adrian Aucoin, Devil Scott Niedermayer & former Flame Derek Morris shore up my defense. On the forward side, Michal Handzus, Jason Arnott, Vaclav Prospal, Alex Mogilny & Martin St. Louis made the cut. In net are Jose Theodore & Jean-Sebastian Giguere.

Anyone else wanna post their squads?

Here goes nothing...

1st pick in the draft, curse or blessing? I guess we will see.

I kind of like being in the middle somewhere, but this was a first for me in any Fantasy Sports draft.

My team:

G - Luongo Fla 4th round
- Potvin Bost 13th round
- Nabakov SJ 17th round

D - Gonchar Wash 3rd round
- Johnsson Phil 7th round
- Spacek Colum 9th round
- Delmore Buff 11th round
- Vishnovsky LA 15th round
- Bouwmeester Fla 18th round

F - Forsberg Col 1st round
- Hossa Ott 2nd round
- Lecavalier TB 5th round
- Weight StL 6th round
- Samsonov Bost 8th round
- O'Neill Car 10th round
- Daze Chi 12th round
- Antropov Tor 14th round
- Morozov Pitt 16th round
- Kotalik Buff 19th round

Is my team the best, who knows... My strategy was to pick the people I thought best.

We'll see....

i'm pretty happy with my team... picking 6th overall, a nice place in the middle of the draft.

F:
naslund, murray, guerin, roenick, richards, white, mellanby, carter, york, lehtinen

D:
foote, boucher, ohlund, phillips, zhitnik, stuart

G:
cechmanek, osgood, salo

i think my goaltending needs a bit of an upgrade, but otherwise i think my forwards will get it done.

I feel kinda sorry for fuelinjected. Havlat & Gaborik are holdouts, Cujo's a thirdstringer and Heatley's injured...at best.

Poor guy. Guess that's whatcha get for no-showing.

And I was home too! I especially came home after class but then forgot why I needed to be home. I think I've done some good Waiver moves, when they clear.

I'm holding onto Gaborik because I think he'll come around soon but I'm dumping Cujo, Heatley and Svelha. Cujo is risky because he might get traded soon but I'm banking that he won't and if he does, it won't be somewhere good.

Most teams don't have $8 mil sitting around to blow on a goalie who hasn't really had any icetime in six months.
