Designed by The Sham and suggested to me way back in January. See, I EVENTUALLY get to your suggestions. ;-)
(And even though I still have months and months of logos in the hopper, feel free to drop me a line - PM or email - and maybe I'll push you to the FRONT of the list! Or maybe you'll see your suggestion in June. WE'RE UNPREDICTABLE)
I was thinking about suggesting this the other day...I like it.
In the context of baseball, the use of drugs hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, the use of alcohol hurts only the player. In the context of baseball, womanizing hurts whom? Maybe the wife of the player? In the context of baseball, felonies are crimes against society, not against baseball. In the context of baseball, gambling is the only crime against baseball.
Gambling, in the context of baseball, is a capital offense and Rose has richly earned-- hell, he agreed to-- his death sentence. Let him hang.

We really are like the Wu-Tang. At first, small and deadly, but now all bloated to where the entire roster takes up the cover of a double CD, and no one can name all the members and some of the newest guys are jealous of the veteran's succes. And we start posting insane shit about killa bees and someone goes on the lam from the law and ends up in jail.

On some subliminal level, this week's W was a tribute to me, wasn't it?
"The Republican National Committee announced today that the Republican Party is changing its emblem from an elephant to a condom. The Republican committee chairman explained that the condom more clearly reflects the party's stance today, because a condom accepts inflation, halts production, precludes a next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and offers a sense of security while you're actually getting screwed."

I'm looking forward to the Wienerboard tour where never more than half the group makes it to any given show and eventually the tour just up and ends with no one quite sure who made that decision or why.
Toil not to gain wealth, cease to be concerned about it. Proverbs 23:4

although I would've expected the line "...ain't nothin' to fuck with". But having an expletive up in large bold letters, I can see how that might be uncomfortable for some who may be surfing at work or at school.
(edit: hooray for my thought train getting disrupted and me not proofreading my post )

That's good to know. I assumed you just hated my suggestion and never responded. :>

Man, I caught one of their shows two years ago in Austin and it was exactly like you described. ODB was in jail, Method Man was on a honeymoon, according to what they told us on stage.
But they still had Ghost, RZA and GZA, which was enough for me. So I figured that it would still be okay, because those three could deliver the goods.
Instead there tons of medleys, endless shilling of t-shirts and RZA running around with a bottle of Grey Goose vodka, yelling, "The goose is loose!"
Oh, and when then ended their 45-minute set, they were sure to tell the ladies that they would be partying at the Doubletree. Thanks, guys.
But the Wu's performance was Iron Man match in calibur, compared to Snoop, who I saw at the same venue a few months later.
He played for 25 minutes. That's it. I don't even think Bishop Don Magic Juan was with him.

Yeah, I hear Grimis and MoeGates will be playing the Hard Rock in Vegas on Thursday and look for Emma and Super Shane Spear in Phoenix this coming Friday. Buy a "Best of the W Logo" T-shirt at the concession stand.
I'm glad so many people enjoyed the logo enough to post. I was also kind of surprised this one wasn't one of the first ones suggested, but I knew if I customized the logo it would be a shoo-in.
I'm sorry, but I wasn't thinking about the connection between OFB and ODB when I put together the logo.
(Oh, and happy birthday to Jaguar today, too! I see why he noticed it was my birthday, too. And Scar. Him, too.)
Part of why it's been so hard to sit here and post something like this is that ever since the big blackout thanks to the nearby tornadys, half of the air condition in our building has been OUT.
