Eh nothing for me this week, but that's more than offset by the release of Super Paper Mario!! Reviews look good so I'm hoping for the best. Gonna grab a copy at lunch today.
I think I have to rent Super Paper Mario. It looks like the kind of game that I'd play hardcore for about a day and then kind of forget about. I suck that way.
As for Galaga, I wouldn't buy it because I have the Namco Museum collection for the Gamecube, so there's no point. Retro collections make me happy.
I can't wait to play Super Paper Mario. I think I'm buying that tomorrow.
Wii Shop Update: The new version of the Internet Channel is available. You have to go through a firmware update first (which you're prompted to go do before it'll let you in the Shop Channel). Then head into the Shop Channel, then Wii Ware, and update your trial Internet Channel into the real deal. A nice improvement, but still nothing that's going to keep me from using the internets on my real computer.
Y'know, speaking of Alex Kidd, they ought to add Sega Master System to the list of Wii Virtual Console platforms! I'd love to play some of the old Alex Kidd SMS games on Wii, or Penguin Land, Shinobi, Choplifter, Alien Syndrome or Cloud Master.
