we kind of stumbled across Upload - a 1 hour Sitcom kind of deal about the afterlife. Pilot episode was a lot of exposition but we haven't decided on episode 2 yet. Anyone else here on that? It's no Tiger King.
We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.
That the universe was formed by a fortuitous concourse of atoms, I will no more believe than that the accidental jumbling of the alphabet would fall into a most ingenious treatise of philosophy - Swift
The pilot is an hour. The rest of the episodes are closer to a half hour.
The wife and I enjoyed it. It felt a bit like a happy version of Black Mirror. The way all the cool technology is used and controlled by corporations is super depressing, but the characters are enjoyable so it leaves you feeling much better as opposed to Black Mirror which is almost traumatizing. I don't think it quite hits the Office or P&R level highs but its solid and after that ending I'm looking forward to season 2, which was picked up.
I think it depends on what you want out of a show once its season ends. I recently binged Devs, and I really like its ending. I won’t spoil too much about Upload, but I felt its ending didn’t try to give too many answers. Instead I thought the season was constructed to force a second season. In a vacuum, I enjoyed Upload and I will watch the next season, but it wasn’t very satisfying like Devs was.

Has anyone been watching the second season? I never got to see all of the first season, but i've been trying to watch regularly with this one. It's a really great show. How can you go wrong with Jeremy Piven? The guy is hilarious.
