-- Futurama isn't dead, but it might as well be. It's again in the 7 PM Sunday death slot and won't debut until after football season.
-- King of the Hill moves from before the Simpsons to after it, in the slot where Futurama should be.
-- Cedric the Entertainer gets his own show, which will be on after Bernie Mac on Wednesday nights.
-- 24 will be back with its original format. Fox apparently had wanted to tinker and make each episode a 24-hr period, but the creators balked. No word if Keifer is coming back (I guess that also depends on if the Drazens and/or Nina snuff him out next week).
-- A new interactive comedy show will be called "meet the marks." No, it doesn't involve Vince fleecing wrestling fans, although it will be on against SD!
Shows not returning include That 80s show, Dark Angel and Greg the Bunny.

Malcolm In the Middle will be on at 9 PM on Sundays after King of the Hill. I for one am amazed that after so many seasons, King of the Hill is getting another shot at a wider audience.
Meanwhile, thank God that "That 80's Show" got the boot. I tried to watch the first episode and couldn't even get through it. And while "Greg the Bunny" was decent, Fox had to know that it would never find a wide audience. But I am sad that I am deprived of yet another chance to see Sarah Silverman on my television each week. Sarah is unfortunately becoming the Gen-X's version of Ted McGinley, in that she kills any series or movie that she is on (besides There's Something About Mary).
Finally, I am overjoyed that 24 was picked up, even though I don't see many people being able to follow another season of the show. Maybe focus on Kim Bauer exclusively, other than that I don't see how this series goes on.
"Oh would you stop being all stealthy and just get in the truck"- Tom Servo
One rumor I heard about 24 is that Palmer would be President and Jack Bauer would be his security guy.
I didn't regularly watch King of the Hill originally, but it's now on twice a day here and at decent times. (5:00 right before PTI and at 7:00 after Sportscenter). Since most of the shows are fresh, I've found it entertaining and I love seeing some of my favorite episodes again. To wit:
-- Hank tries to get the Cowboys to move their training camp to Arlen -- Peggy enters a beauty contest -- Luann's God-themed puppet show
And my favorite line in the history of the show, in reference to a female on the Supreme Court:
"And that woman's name was Earl Warren."

Well, I'm gonna get a region free DVD player, just so I can import the Region 2 Futurama Season 1 set.
I wonder if Fox thought that Groening would have a market for it on another network and didn't want to have it show up on UPN or WB. I think they wouldn't mind if it went away, just as long as they didn't have to somewhere else.

From ew.com ------------------- Along with ''Dark Angel,'' Fox is ringing the bell on ''Ally McBeal,'' ''The X-Files,'' ''Undeclared,'' ''That '80s Show,'' ''Titus,'' ''Greg the Bunny,'' and even the seemingly unkillable ''Family Guy.''
I hate Fox. Greg should have been given more of a chance. And Titus is gone? AAARGH.
I didn't really like 'Greg the Bunny, so I can't say I will miss it. I'm glad Andy Richter at least got a mid-season order, I figured since I really like that show that it would be cancelled for sure. 'King of the Hill' has been better than 'The Simpsons' for the last couple of years, so I'm glad it's moving to a better timeslot (one which will mean it will not be pre-empted by football). 'Futurama' is probably ALSO better than 'The Simpsons' now, but has never really been given the chance. The good news is that apparently Fox has so many episodes in the can, I think I've read that it could stay on the air until 2004.
I don't think I will miss any of the other shows. I thought "Undeclared" and "Family Guy" was overrated by some. "Undeclared" - bad, "Family Guy" - only OK

Three absolutely unlikeable shows in every way, shape and form. The first season of Dark Angel was sporadic in the quality department, but I couldn't make it past the second episode of this season. I actually have a co-worker who blocks off a half-hour of his Tuesday nights in order to watch That 80s Show. Well, he used to. I see that Titus is getting the axe, too. The first two seasons were actually not that bad. I lost interest this season, however, when they continued doing the same three stories over and over.
