Nothing major, but, until a few days ago when I'd click on my profile I'd get random quotes from myself. That has disappeared. Anyway to get it back? Also, this is even more minor, but is it possible for The-W Amazon Shop Home Page to vary the products displayed? If I haven't purchased Arrested Development yet, I'm probably not ever going to purchase it. Even if it is just random things from random categories, it might cause someone to impulse buy it, or something else from that category.

Sorry, I broke that last week doing some code optimization for the social bookmarking links. I totally didn't notice! It's fixed now.

Our Marketing Department needs to work on this, I agree. If we were REALLY clever, we'd extract all the uses of the [amazon] tag from recent posts and do something with THAT information, but as I haven't looked at how we set up that shop, I don't even know if that's easy or totally not worth it. It could totally be an affiliate thing we don't code. (This is where the guy who knows more than me should chime in!)
A few ideas off the top of my head: A TV DVD or 2 that has just come out/will be coming out soon. A wrestling DVD that is on its way out. Amazon has the shoe deal they currently are running. Perhaps something from that category. Since it is the holiday season, something from the toy department for those with kids or shopping for nephews/nieces. Same for video games, except they'd be shopping for themself. Just about all of us have to sleep at some point, so perhaps something from bedding. Something from the sports apparel section would be nice.
I like the new variety. Off point: Glad I pre-ordered the Pillman DVD rather than waiting for it. Cost around $15 on Amazon doing the preorder, now it is around $27.
I recently made a post in the Politics forum, which I thought better of and deleted. However a couple of minutes later I thought of a much less inflammatory way to make my case and went to undelete my post so I could edit it.
