Very surprising, and I figured that he had burned his bridges with Andy Reid. On the other hand, the Eagles did need a MLB, and Trotter needed a defensive scheme in which he can excel. If he can return to form in Philadelphia, it makes the Eagles defense much scarier.

Didn't see that coming at all. I kinda thought when the 'Skins released him that we could do with having him back but I never thought for a second that Reid would entertain the idea.

If he can get back to anything approaching his form in 2000/01 then our D's gonna be hella tough to move on, especially if the young CB's step up.

My only worry would be that the fans might be quick to turn on him if he has a bad start to the year. I certainly know I was mad as hell at him when he left, but hey if we aren't renowned for our loving forgiving nature, what are we known for?

Penn State didn't have a lot of scholarships available this year, IIRC. The one I'm really thrilled about is Austin Scott from Parkland (PA). He's a little small (6'1, 195), 4.
