Originally posted by Mr Heel II I didn't care for the movie overall. The audience in "Ant-Man" laughed WAY harder than this audience did.
I thought it was funny, but I had people in the audience laughing at basically everything. If I saw it with a different crowd, it might have been different.
I wonder what the senior citizens I saw in the theater thought of the raunchiness.
I still couldn't quite buy the lead characters falling for each other, especially him being into her.
My favorite part was LeBron the cheapskate trying to get out of paying for lunch.
I'm not sure what creeped me out more.....Tilda Swinton looking like a semi-normal person for once, the fact that she and Ezra Miller shared scenes (We Need To Talk About Kevin flashbacks! Argh!) or John Cena's mostly-naked body. What a weird-looking guy. He's built like a human Ninja Turtle.

This same criticism could be made about virtually any romcom where it's a slob guy inexplicably landing a woman out of his league.
After over 13 years and 6800 posts, was finally named W of the Day on 3/21/2015. It's now all worth it!

If I did not know ahead of time that it was Tilda Swinton, you could have given me 1,000 chances and I never would have guessed it was her. That being said, she was very funny.
It was a good movie. Could have been great. Feel like they wimped out a little by going full blown Rom-Com in the second half. Would have preferred more comedy.
Life is hilariously cruel.
It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.

First thing my wife said after seeing the movie was that she couldn't believe that Bill Hader's character would have problems getting women. With his high profile job with famous professional athletes as his clientele, he would have women practically lining up to date him.

Warm up for the live action, big budget debut of Ryan Reynolds as the emerald ring jockey by watching the newest cartoon about Green Lantern, as I did. There's lots to like for Green Lantern/DC nerds. Review with SPOILERS: http://www.backofthehead.
