T.O. must not be a member of the IWC, otherwise he'd know about Carmella.

I love how TO always backtracks after making ridiculous comments. He did the same thing when he trashed Ray Lewis.
Haha, yeah but I think everyone would back track after you trash Ray Lewis. But seriously, I understand that hes good enough to the point where he can get away with saying some stuff, but is this man retarded? At least he wasnt completly a dick when he said:
"if it was a guy who was helping us win ball games, hey, I'd have no problem with it. He can do what he wants to do outside of my everyday life"
But even then it was like he thought he needed to give permission. Well when Ray Lewis knocks him the hell out, I dont think anyones going to feel sorry for Owens.
"Smackdown Video games is the only way Big Show can play me, Cuz i bring championships home, just like Tom Brady"
I love John Cena :)

The real question is why should it matter? I know football is the ultimate machismo sport but if you do your job and are quiet about your orientation would anyone care. And have you seen who Garcia is dating. I wish I was that gay.

At the risk of continuing the gay theme, you may think he's an ass, but damnit he's OUR ass and we love 'im. And if Lewis is that intent on knocking him out I look forward to seeing him line up in the secondary come Halloween.

Feh. I hate Ray Lewis more than any other man in sports. I'd honestly take the greatest pleasure in winding him up if I had the size and ability to play in the NFL. I have neither however, so (mercifully) I don't have to back up that statement with, you know, action ;)

All it would take is one trip across the middle on a slant or a short drag pattern.

I seem to remember T.O. saying a while back that he's made a career through the middle (or words to those effect) and wouldn't be changing it for Ray Lewis. At the same time he said Ray wasn't the hardest hitting guy in the league and he wouldn't be running scared. Not really the most derogatory of things to say in my opinion, and as one of the top receivers in the NFL, TO was probably fairly qualified to make the statement.
For some reason Ray took offense and started spraffing on about how the Ravens had shut him down once, and they'd do it again, and that TO should no better than to talk about him yada yada. Maybe he was pissed because he realised how shitty and one dimensioanl his teams O was post T.O. trade. I dunno.
Personally I don't get the big fear factor about Ray Lewis. He's a fricking great player and is doubtless capable of kicking the living shit out of me, but to my mind it doesn't take a particularly brave or hard man to talk smack on defence. Theres far braver and tougher guys out there in the NFL and in sports in general. I mean its not like he really has to worry about anyone hitting him back where he plays.
I've got far more respect for the guys on offense who have the balls to stand up and give a little back knowing they're probably gonna have to live with getting drilled for it. But hey I'm unashamedly biased on this subject.
Think ABC is thrilled that they have them in a prime time slot on the opening Saturday night against the Bayou Bengals in Atlanta? If the team gets purged, maybe they beat William @ Mary to keep from going winless.
