So it's that time of year where we sign up for fantasy football in June and then forget about it until you remember the day before the draft in late August. So I sent invites to members of last year's Yahoo keeper league. Here were last year's teams in order from best regular season record to worst, with their keeper players and those players' final ranks at their position according to Yahoo:

Cold Manor - Jamaal Charles (1)
The .500 Club - Robert Griffin III (19)
BDL - C.J. Spiller (29)
RAW Satires - A.J. Green (6)
Trash Boat - Matt Forte (3)
Sons of Danny Kanell - Maurice Jones-Drew (23)
Dreadnoks - Adrian Peterson (6)
Yuckaneers - Calvin Johnson (2)
Canadian Bacon - Chris Johnson (9)
Punchout! - Cam Newton (6)
The Selcaro - Ray Rice (30)
Steel City Revenge - None
The Dude Abides - Pierre Garcon (16)
Macon Mayhem - Drew Brees (2)
Fantastic Football - Dez Bryant (10)
Green Mist - Doug Martin (62)

The deadline to designate keepers is August 9. Approximately two weeks before that (aka whenever it occurs to me to do so), I'll see if anybody wants to take over for any teams that have not been renewed. If you didn't get the email to renew, send me a private message with your email address. Or better yet, it's probably possible to accept the invitation just by logging into your yahoo account and going to the fantasy football home page. But I'm not sure about that.

This year I'm actually going to be able to pay attention to football, and fantasy team management. None of this last place BS anymore.

I resent the invite to those who have not yet renewed. You also should be able to accept the invite by going to the Fantasy Football homepage too.

Hey so there remain four teams from this league that I'm commissioner of that are not reclaimed from last year. I'll resend the invites, and if none of them renew then we'll just cut those four places, unless there are four people who want to take their places. Send me a private message if you want to take a team. It's auction draft, keeper deadline is August 9.

Remaining unclaimed teams are Cold Manor, Dreadnoks, Trash Boat, and Sons of Danny Kanell.
