This is a pretty awesome flowchart of wrestlers' names over the decades.

http://cache.gawkerassets.com/assets/images/11/2011/08/pcl_prowrestlers_zoom.jpg

Couple of observations: There have been lots of dogs. Meanwhile, Undertaker has cornered the undertaking category.

(Incidentally, I didn't realize that yellow wrestling man icon I chose is the OVW logo. I always thought it was just a generic "wrestling" logo.)

You are in luck because that very thing is available:

http://popchartlab.com/collections/prints/products/the-titanic-taxonomy-of-wrestler-names

I got one of the Heavy Metals prints for a friend's birthday a few weeks ago. They are quality.

Harry: That's a special feeling.

Yeah I recognized that it was the same people who did the chart of Superhero Superpowers.

I retweeted this yesterday (@PopChartLab via @CRZ), downloaded a copy of the giant version to cache on our own server, and then completely failed to make this post, so thanks for making it for me (and stealing Gawker's bandwidth instead of ours!) - I did stop short of actually purchasing a copy, thinking I could try to find a "missing" name, score the $10 gift card and apply it to the NEXT version of this chart, but this'll either never happen because I'm too lazy or will TOTALLY happen because I will become too obsessed with finding a name to throw their way.

I don't see The Goon under "sportsmen".

Also, the could add "clowns" - Doink and Dink.

If you're looking for a generic name that's missing, CRZ, try offering Dave "The Animal" Batista under the "generic animals" header. I'm surprised that he's not on there, given that Animal, George "The Animal" Steele and the Filthy Animals all are!

Do edits count? Outlaw Bob Bass should be Outlaw RON Bass.

Killer Bees also in insects, but NOT in Killers.

Widowmaker missing from Murderers.

The Widowmaker wasn't a murderer. He was the "baddest bull in the woods", so he should be in either Cowboys or General Toughness. Or both.

No Earnest "The Cat" Miller in the Cats section.

Ten seconds in and this thing's already invalid.

"Hollywood" Hogan is there, under Place of Origin/Domestic/Tinseltown.

Hulk Hogan's under Physical or Metaphysical Attributes/Similar to a Trademarked Character.
