I live in Ottawa, and the media is starting to push the "panic" button. Apparently, the trade made earlier for Stillman and Commodore wasn't enough. I can't say I don't blame them though, in large part due to the "wonderful" seeding format where Carolina with 67 points out-seed several other teams with more points than them (they should be tied for eighth).
Of course, the fun part is that Ottawa might not even win their division, what with the Most Sucessful Hockey Team in History spotting teams five goals a game and STILL winning. And so far, the Price is right, which I'm not complaning about. As much as I want Hossa on our team (apparently we're in the running to aquire him), I wouldn't trade Higgins for him. Gong to be an exciting time.
Teams I *DON'T* want to play: The Pens. Malkin is taking over games by himself.
Teams I *DO* want to Play: The Boston Jullians. We've owned them of late.
THE DRIVE FOR 25!!
(edited by El Nastio on 22.2.08 2121) Yes, I finally have updated the Troll Moment of the Week! This week is brought to you by ;
"STONEBOY!" , who brought us the following such pieces of wisdom as:
STONEBOY!: "THIS GOES MESSAGE GOES OUT TO ALL CANADIANS ESPECIALLY MONTREAL WHEREVER THE F#CK THAT IS".
Kidbrooklyn: "Please god tell me that you're making fun of the douche who started this thread...
Wait, no he isn't. He's serious. I hadn't read his previous brilliance before. I apologize" (in reference to a reply by James1978).
Straka needs to steup his game and Cechmanek needs to carry this team from here on out. The Kings are still in the middle of the playoff race...but losing Palffy will definitely kill morale.
