Jane Lynch always brings the awesome, so I was ok with the main plot. Loved watching her punt Mr. Burns like a basketball.
The B-plot really didn't do anything for me. Ok, I get it! Evil people want the old folks to be miserable! I already learned this when the nursing home workers ran their console through a dishwasher a couple of seasons ago. Frink and the nerds almost saved it, though.
Decent episode.
Roz: **hisses** Who told you? Homer: Let's just say his initials are "S.F." Roz: Stupid Flanders!
It was really noticeable in this episode, but when did they start doing that annoying thing like Family Guy where Homer would say or think something and they'd cut to a 10-20 second gag and then cut back to Homer. They did this a lot during this episode. This 'comedy bit' is one of the reasons why I can't stand watching Family Guy. It completely stops the story progression for a joke that usually isn't really that funny and then tries to continue with the story. I find it extremely annoying.
I think CRZ had it right by calling this one forgettable. I thought it started off well enough, but kind of fell off the tracks once the evil seal was introduced into the old folks' home.
