Well, seeing that you're from Toronto, most Leafs fans hate the Sens... used to be a Leafs fan back when I lived in T.O.
You're not upset that the final Canadian team is gone from the playoffs? I wasn't upset when Vancouver CHOKED themselves, in this case, out of the playoffs.
I don't think it matters whether or not a Canadian team is in the finals. Close to 50% of most rosters are Canadian-born players. I just look at each of the 30 teams individually and cheer for the team I like better. I think as Canadians we get too defensive about beating the USA. International competitions, fine. NHL? (shrug)
In terms of support, for me it's always been Toronto, NY Islanders, and Calgary.
In the finals, I'm pulling for Anaheim, if only because Steve Thomas is a golf buddy of my Dad's.
