The Ravens and Bills agreed to a trade Thursday that will send running back Willis McGahee to Baltimore in exchange for the team's third and seventh-round picks in this year's draft, along with the Ravens' third-round pick in 2008, league sources said.
If Ralph Wilson can't afford to spend with the rest of the NFL, he should only have 2 options: Sell the naming rights to the stadium rather than having it in his name, or sell the team. Spend a #1 on McGahee, have him sit a year due to the injury he had before being drafted, let him develop into a good running back, then dump him a year before free agency.

They get rid of someone who was considered a problem by many associated with the team.
There was a story on Yahoo a couple of weeks ago that cited sources within the Bills who stated:
"Willis literally didn't know what to do on the plays," a source said. "After the play was called, we'd have another coach signaling to Willis what to do because he didn't know. He'd miss blocks [in pass protection] a few times, not because he was beat, but because he didn't know what he was doing.
"He just doesn't study. … His teammates noticed it, and it affected how they viewed him in the locker room."
Look, he wasn't going to sign with the Bills after his contract ended this year, so now was as good a time as any to get rid of him...
What they do now is anybody's guess. They have had Chris Brown and Dominic Rhodes in for visits. They could re-sign Anthony Thomas, lots of possibilities. They spent most of their $$ on the OL, so any back should be able to do well now...
They now have extra draft picks, with which to fill the defensive holes and perhaps draft a RB for the future...
In the end, it is not a bad deal for the Bills....
There's a World Container with your name on it, and a billion ways to go bezerk!!
This is a good deal fro both teams. I actually thought the Ravens gave up too much because Rosenhaus (McGahee's agent) HAD to have used the fact they gave up three picks to play hard ball for a 7 year contract. McGahee is good, but 7 years? I know it is 5 with options but come on!
Fry crack corn and I don't care Leela crack corn I still don't care Bender crack corn and he is great Take that you stupid corn!

Ravens do well next year, but get nixxed out of the NFC North by Cincy.
I wouldn't jump to conclusions. There's plenty of time left for half the Bengals to end up in jail before the season starts.
I'd like to agree with Lexus, but chill is probably more likely right. I don't know if it's just that Marvin has developed an eye for talented morons or if he just overestimated his ability to bring them to heel.
My bad. I did a search for Steve Winwood on Amazon and clicked on one of his Greatest Hits albums and assumed it was just him. Apologies for not being up to speed on his history.
