I liked this episode much better than the first one. It was more realistic than last weeks, but still silly enough to work. Kelly Kapoor's admission to the camera that she wasn't pregnant was so far one of the funniest things I've seen on the show.
Oh, and today I'm emailing personnel to demand that we get Red Bull in our vending machines. Some days I just want to ride the bull.

You definitely hit on the best of this episode. It seems so easy to take for granted a character like Kelly. But Mindy Kaling is so great in this role and she gives this somewhat stock character some real dimensions.
And then there's Creed. I can't believe he used the printer ink to look younger. He had the best lines of the night.

Did anyone else catch Ryan tell Kelly that he turned down Karen when she asked him out? Jim and Karen were seeing each other from the time Karen transfered in until interview day in NY....and once Ryan got the job there, Kelly was just "a black girl" he used to date, so I doubt it was after the day in NY...

Ryan was lying to Kelly for appearances. In the episode where the guys were all hanging out in the women's restroom, Ryan mentioned to Jim that HE sent Karen an e-mail. So, essentially he just twisted the facts around.
Also, I thought this episode was weak. 0-2 for me this season. The lake scene was stupid and painfully unfunny.
Though, I did laugh hard at "cash basket", "...what Pierce Brosnan probably smells like", and "WE HAVE A DATE!".

Poor Toby. He's like the Tommy Dreamer of The Office. Nothing ever goes his way. I expected Jim and Pam to have something negative to say to him after he "outed" them though.

The lake scene was definitely the low-point of the show for me. It broke my suspension of disbelief and completely took me out of the episode until they got back to the office after they stole their gift basket back.
Other than that, I liked the show. I'll give this season 2-0 so far, but it hasnt been quite as gut-busting-ly funny as usual.
Loved this episode, LOVED! this episode. I didn't even connect the dots with Creed's theft of the printer ink and the dyed hair, that just makes things even more awesome. I can't count how many great moments there were in this...Gotta ride the bull...His name's Garbage, because that's what he eats...Kelly's behavior...Jim's little wave to Ryan after the failed date attempt...and, of course, CASH BASKET!
I gotta disagree about the lake stuff, too. I agree it's fairly unrealistic for someone to do that but so what?! It's a TV show and doing those type of things is Michael's M.O. Plus it was all worth it for his entrance back at the office. "I drove my car into a lake because the computer told me to." "...what?" "I drove my car into a F'ING lake." G-O-L-D.

Right on board with you there. How many times before has Michael done something completely absurd like that? EVERY F'ING EPISODE, that's when. Drives me nuts, but i actually got a laugh from this one.
Kelly's little baby girl whine, "But why?" killed me as well.

I just can't help it, I think those "Onstar tells driver to drive into something" jokes are hilarious. That may make me a bad person, but I'm okay with that.
