Funny stuff with Jim admonishing everyone NOT to tell Andy what product the jingle was from, and hearing him come up with different stuff..."Cat food...nailed it!"

I am trying to decide which I like better, Michael's assumptions about Stanley or Oscar. "Oscar, you're in charge of costume design. Obviously."

Kevin = Kool-Aid Man...the big grin = priceless

Line of the night: "I'm excited about doing the ad, but I'm not really used to doing videos with so many people around."

That commercial Michael made so rocked...

I loved the Second Life bit, where in Dwight's Second Life he also worked for a paper company (and could fly). And was working on a Third Life as well.

Is anyone else plotting the imminent murder of Jerry Seinfeld if that stupid Bee Movie doesn't just come out and go the fuck away in the very near future?

" ... Either piss or get off the pot ..." Meredith rules.

Seemed odd watching a 30 minute episode of The Office again.

To me, this was the best episode of the year and no coincindence that it was only 30 minutes long. Andy was spot on a riot this week with the Kit Kat song. You have the slow build of Jim not realizing any of his dreams while Pam chases hers, Michael acting NORMAL (for Michael) and awesome one liners from Kevin and Meredith.

But Dwight playing Second Life and the only difference in his Second Life is that he flies, was genius.

I agree. It was more focused and everything I like about the show. Convict Stanley in the commercial was all kinds of great.

Kool-Aid Man will haunt my dreams. I have been so spoiled with the hour episodes, I couldn't believe it was over in 30! I loved this one, and everyone had great moments.

What magic button did Jim hit to instantaneously bring up his Second Life account on Pam's monitor? That irritated me. Besides that, everything was great.

Yes. Very much so.

As for the episode itself, I thought it was pretty great. I think my favorite part was while Andy was trying to figure out what the product was, and one of the things he came up with was "poison gas."

I assumed it was some sort of intra-office employee monitoring thing. I dunno if Pam would have access to something like that, but it was plausible enough in my mind for me not to worry about it too much.

God yes. It's not even really the little skits themselves, but the fact that they feel the need to end every one with some inane and horribly contrived "joke", like a lamp falling and Jerry looking sad.

I would've titled this thread "And thus Michael Scott secures his destiny." But in a good way.

PB&J are continuing along nicely. It's been a joy to watch them so far this season. So how long will it be before they work together to restore Dwangela?

Speaking of that, the "Oh D!" scene was awesome. As was Andy completely forgetting Kit-Kat bar. As was Creed filching hash browns. Basically, the whole episode was awesome. The best television show right now continues to prove it. It definitely felt too short though, the half-hour flew by! The hour-longs will be missed. It's going to be hard to beat Launch Party.

Did anyone else besides me genuinely like Michael's commercial better than the ad company's one?

Right here. While most of the details reeked of Michael Scott Stupidity, the ad as a whole idea was pretty cool. The corporate ads sucked because they showed the Big Box Paper sucking but never actually showed DM being better in any way.

Second Life making its way onto a popular American sitcom? Wow.

This was Second Life's second appearance on TV this week. CSI: NY was an hour long ad for the game.

I would assume that besides the slogan, the other breaking point for corporate would've been the fee to use Chariots of Fire in a commercial. I hope that the deleted scenes also address why Dunder-Miffin didn't just slip some extra money to the people already doing a documentary on the company to make a commercial.

Excellent point. I'd love to see the commercial crew show up and see that there is already a crew filming and be all congused.

I didn't love this episode like I did "Launch Party" -- it was just OK.

I think that the gold object that's pointing down is meant to be reminiscent of a spike without being too obvious a reference to a phallus.
