SANTA ANA, Calif. -- Los Angeles doesn't want its name associated with the Angels.
The city of Los Angeles filed a brief Wednesday supporting Anaheim's lawsuit that claims the name Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim violates the team's stadium lease.
One really has to wonder if he wants to move the team. Pissing off both the city you're in and the city you're trying to attach to the name of your franchise is not the greatest way to appeal to your "fans".
Of course, the Rams also played there back in the day, moved to St. Louis and started winning SuperBowls. So maybe Moreno wants to follow in their footsteps (ignoring Nov. 2002 for a moment).

Then they should call themselves the New York Angels. That makes just about as much sense.

Is the league set up for slotted players only allowed to play a certain amount of games? Or can a slotted player play a unlimited amount of games through the whole season?
