Saw this on Fark and checked the article out. It's a pretty cool review of how Umpires work their way up the minors, hoping to get to the show.

As I told one of my buddies before the season started, if the Padres can manage to not lose 100 games, I will be a happy guy. They are playing much better than they did in May. The bullpen is a little more stable. The boys are starting ot hit.
