As a diehard Toronto fan, I can say good riddance to a bad, egotistic ass. We built the team around him and remained loyal to him even as he was humming and hawing as to where he'd play, and always kept a door open for him. Until, of course, Brian Burke took over.
So yeah, Mats picked over Vancouver over New York, ending the drama of the year. Or not.
