TVLine, via Cartoon Brew and The Animation Guild's blog, reports that FOX's animated series The Cleveland Show has been canceled. A FOX representative claims that the network has not made a decision about the show's future. Given the lengthy amount of time it takes to produce an animated episode, even if production has ceased some new episodes could air next season.
I've long since given up on Cleveland, when they essentially turned him into Black Peter Griffin. Nothing about this show made me want to keep watching, but I kept tuning in out of a blind hope that it would turn around at some point. It never did and, sure enough, I finally bailed.
They should have taken my advice and kept Ric Flair around as a recurring cast member. He could have been that show's Adam West.
So will Cleveland move back to Rhode Island and rejoin the Griffins? And if so, does he bring his family or do they say he got a divorce and he only brings Junior?
I dunno, I thought this last season had some really good episodes ... and if they do decide to move Cleveland back to Quahog, I hope MacFarlane keeps some room open for Roger/Stan/Steve/Francine should "American Dad" ever get the axe.
My new inappropriate catchphrase: Vinegar, please!
Two things I got from this episode 1) these guys are unfortunate idiots. The guy who's named "Conqueror" may in fact be telling you lies about the future, feel free to question his info a bit. 2)
