How has THIS show made it four seasons already? (Better question: Why have I stuck with it for this long?)
I've probably said this before, but I really don't know when Cleveland because such a moronic character, but it's long since ceased to be a novelty. No laughs to be found for me this episode, except for the costumes they wound up wearing. Federline as Inspector Gadget was pretty funny.
But goddammit, do they HAVE to explain every single joke? They always have the potential for something funny (kinda), but they just insist on explaining every joke for the benefit of the idiots that don't get it. The "mole eyes" attack could have been funny, but Cleveland had to end it with "Ha, they're gonna eat them." The random sewer monster could have been funny, but Cleveland had to add "We have no idea what that is." And it's all over this episode! It's just annoying!
Really, the funniest character on this show is Wally Farqua (what is it with Seth MacFarlane and making great principal characters?), but he definitely can't carry this show on his own. I'm at the end of my rope with this show. I'll give it another week, but I'm about ready to (finally) bail on this one.
Rallo dying was funny - unfortunately, it was a lot of work to get there. I didn't hate this episode as much as you did, but yeah it was mostly "just there."
Well, we have another 16 DVDs showing available since yesterday. Some of the missing Releases of Mystery are back - these are all from Columbia River Entertainment: The Great Generals, American Warriors Series (The W at Amazon)
