Leftwich's deal is for $7.5 million, a source told ESPN.com's John Clayton.
Leftwich, the source indicated to Clayton, will be scheduled to make $2 million this year. He will have a $3.5 million roster bonus in 2010 that has to be paid at the start of the free-agency period. If they pay it, Leftwich could make $5.5 million in 2010.

Yea, so, one year deal.
It still amazes me that there was a strong market for Leftwich this year than last, when all he did is backup for the Steelers and play mediocre as a fill in starter.

It still amazes me how surprised the media was that there wasn't a BIGGER market for Leftwich this year. If you listened to them, he played great in the one game and now has a ring.

If you wanna reach the Co-op, boy, you gotta get by me.

Josh Freeman.
They're still waiting for the Vinny Testaverde and Steve Young picks to pan out.
