Wow, with the killer being revealed I thought this show was going to stall to make it to 13 episodes but they are not letting up. I watched Ep 09 and 10 back to back so sorry if I mix things up.
First of all, Marcus' wife is pretty ingrateful after Marcus rescued her dumb ass from a grenade. I mean, how many people you know can take a live grenade from your hands and toss it out of harms way? She's still throwing a fit and is moving out away from Marcus' protection.
Charlotte is going crazy. First killing the Mexican boss lady with a pitch fork then gunning down the guy that is working for the ATF in cold blood... they went to school together or something! Jeez.
Not sure where Linder's story is going.
Next week's preview looks super exciting. It's all going down where it started... at the Bridge.
Charlotte breaking bad is fun, and you're right about the show keeping the plots at a nice gallop. Instead of the usual slow scenes of brooding intensity, we're getting choices and deeds. Charlotte has had it with you people, and she has nothing to lose. Except Ray, who can easily be replaced by Caesar and the Lyle Lovett Lawyer. Unless she keeps him around solely for the same service he performed for Graciela.
Matthew Lillard is surprising me each episode. I don't want to like this character, but he makes each scene a little unpredictable and his role a little more sympathetic.
I know expect each new guest actress to be a former conquest of Marco. Because look at that man.
We're getting more to like with Sonya. Even when she tries to reach out, she gets pricked by social thorns. Her effort is the hook that makes the character interesting.
This show is not going where I expected, and I like being surprised each week.
