I've finally gotten to see DEADWOOD via this channel. I can see what all the hype is about. I'm also able to catch OZ, and frankly, I don't see what the hype is/was, I guess it's one of those "had to be there" things.
But tonight they premiered UNDERBELLY, an Australian series about the Heroin trade in Australia in the 70s and 80s. First show was fantastic, and I can't wait for more.
Plus, starting in a week or so, they are going to run BROTHERHOOD, the former Showtime drama. It was GREAT when it was on, but Showtime didn't renew it this season. If you've never seen it, check it out!
They also show Sleeper Cell, Friday Night Lights (new shows), and a few other dramas that I've not been able to catch yet. So, is anybody else getting addicted to the 101?
Yup, I make it a point to watch Dan Patrick's show every morning. His studio was done by the Mancaves people...and it's awesome.
I also try to catch Oz when I can...the show is pretty intense, plus the cast...2 went on to Lost, and 4-5 had a career with the Law and Order franchise.
I've even caught myself watching the Trailer Park Boys show that was imported from Canada...call it a guilty pleasure if you must.
DirecTV 101...where post-Wings Tim Daly series go when they die.
Don't forget the opportunity to watch new episodes of Friday Night Lights MONTHS before cable subscribers get it on NBC. That's really the only time I watch The 101, but I have to admit I'd like to find the time to watch Oz and see what the fuss was all about.
This would have great to post at the start of the day and not at the END of the day! The Miz -- Laying the Smack Down on 'TMZ on TV' And yes, Miz brought the belt with him.
