I think he's probably done at this point, how long did he sit after Buffalo turfed him?
In other views, hopefully the Isles make these types of surprising mid-summer personnel changes a tradition, because they bridge the gap nicely from the end of the early free-agent frenzy, and the start of the rookie and summer camps.
If I were ESPN, I would hire Nolan as a replacement for Melrose. He ould be a good addition there and since he will not sniff s head coach job in years,it would be a good move for him.
"Marriage is like that show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, but it’s not funny. All the problems are the same, but you know instead of all the funny, pithy dialogue, everybody is really pissed off and tense. Marriage is like a tense, unfunny version of 'Everybody Loves Raymond', only it doesn't last 22 minutes. It lasts forever."
A classy move by Chelios to not play while they deal with this and be there for them. Also from a PR pov ofcourse. If he had gone on with his game it would make him look like a complete jerk.
