So I just read somewhere that in 1998, Tazz was arrested on charges of "corrupting the morals of a minor" and indecent exposure. I'd never heard this before, and all I could find googling around was the same info. Does anybody know the details of the incident or incidents that led to the arrest?

This would be the time for me to make a Jerry Lawler joke, but I don't think he was ever officially part of ECW, right?

On screen, Lawler has always been very anti-ECW. I don't know if you could count "invading ECW" as being a part of it or not.
In the real world, WWE believes that no matter what our race, religious creed or ethnic background in America, we all share the common bond of being Americans. American-Arabs are a part of the fabric of America, and they should be embraced by all of us.

What you read was Hyatte making a joke in his column. He included a few real-life incidents of wrestlers running afoul of the law, but laced the section with several jokes that never actually occurred. You should re-read it and note the context that he uses the alleged incident in...

Especialy when Lawler "invading ECW" essentially came down to him getting choked out by Tazz in under five seconds.

Nah, I'm pretty sure he ripped off that list wholesale from one of the other 17 or 18 sites that has it. Plus what about the Scherer report?

WHAT? When Lawler invadeed the arena, the beatdown on Tommy Dreamer was probably the most brutal I had seen on ECW at that time. It played out that Taz choked him out, but just to let the ECW fans celebrate a victory over the WWE.
GREAT angle that showed how effective Lawler can be delivering a heel promo.
I suppose no one remembers that Lawler actually wrestled Dreamer at ECW Hardcore Heaven? And that no less than four people interfered in that match?
